Summary: I did a tour with Suresh and I cannot recommend him enough. He is such a kind, caring and funny guide. He can make you laugh and motivate you even when your legs are giving up! My trip would not have been the same without him! He is a ray of sunshine! I made a friend for life and I’d hike that again just for the laughter and memories we shared! He is the true Nepali spirit! Just book that trip and worry about training after!

Summary: Trekking to Everest Base Camp was a dream come true, and having Babu as our tour guide made the entire experience even more special. His team’s professionalism, knowledge, and genuine care stood out from day one. Babu’s team of guides was incredibly knowledgeable about the region, its culture, and the terrain. They kept us safe and well-informed and always encouraged us with a smile—even on the toughest days. One moment that showed his team’s dedication to our success was when one of us was struggling. One of his guides didn’t hesitate to carry one of our backpacks to lighten the load. That small act of kindness made a huge difference and speaks volumes about his team’s character. He made sure we were acclimatizing properly, always checked in on how we were feeling, and arranged everything seamlessly—from cozy teahouses to warm meals. If you’re considering the Everest Base Camp trek, you need someone like Babu and his incredible team. Thank you, Babu, for making this journey one of the most memorable experiences of our lives!

Summary: Babu review We were a group of 8 people who hiked EBC, guided by Babu’s team - Unique Path. It was a pleasure and satisfying experience interacting with Babu during every single stage of our trip. Planning: Babu provided comprehensive overview and details of the trip. He was very prompt and responsive to all our questions. We were able to customize the accommodations at various locations based on the recommendations provided by Babu as well as our own online research. Babu was open to our suggestions and provided valid feedback based on his experience. Babu put together a full comprehensive plan starting with pickup from the airport till drop off. He was open to having Zoom calls to go over all the questions that we had - which eased our concerns. Babu was able to arrange helis based on our preference. It was helpful that Babu showed flexibility with the mode of payment. Arrival Our main guide, Suresh, from Babu’s team greeted us at the airport with a flower garland! Such a good start for an amazing trip! Babu met us that afternoon along with Suresh for orientation and went over the whole agenda and helped us understand what to expect. He was able to help with currency conversion as well. Trek begins The guides Suresh, Lokee and Chota Suresh were all professional, caring and friendly! The main guide, Suresh, had a clear plan for every day which he explained at the dinner the previous night. He was flexible to work with our time preference- but was firm on the days that needed early departures. He was able to guage the speed and capability of our group and was able to adjust the departure and lunch times accordingly. They paid attention to the Oxygen level and determined the wellness of the team periodically. The assistant guides Lokee and chota Suresh were extremely respectful and helpful! The guides were able to identify key viewpoints and different mountains along the trek and educated us with their names. It was amazing to see the young porters who carried our heavy duffel bags- but always had a smile in their faces! It was a great feeling of accomplishment, test of physical, mental and emotional endurance, which would not have been possible without this amazing team! Back in Kathmandu: On return to Kathmandu , when one of our team members fell sick, Babu personally took him to the clinic and ensured proper care was given. Such gestures and attention to our comfort and well being was greatly appreciated. Babu was also able to arrange local tours while in Kathmandu. When time to leave, Babu gave us a finishing plaque and saw us off with a prayer scarf! Such personal touches during the entire trip made the trip more memorable! From receiving us the airport till our drop off, Babu’s attention to details and willingness to tailor design our trip was a satisfying experience. We’ll strongly recommend Babu and unique path to our friends and family!
